I often get asked what it means to be a "Kingdom Entrepreneur". This is what i think...
As always, I consider it an honour and privilege to be asked to share some of my thoughts on what it
means to be a “Kingdom Entrepreneur”.
In the course of my walk with God, I’ve discovered that my
assignment is to be a “K.I.N.G” (Kingdom builder, Institution builder, Nation
builder and Generation builder) and I strive every day, to fulfil that
assignment.
In my understanding, a Kingdom Entrepreneur is a business
owner / individual who exists solely to finance God’s Kingdom upon the earth.
The Scripture; “thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven” is the mission
statement by which he and his business operates.
Kingdom Entrepreneurs understand that have STEWARDSHIP of
money and not OWNERSHIP. The ownership of wealth belongs to God; which is why
He says, “The silver and the gold are mine, the earth and the fullness
thereof”.
While a lot of people aspire to be Kingdom Entrepreneurs,
I’ve realized that it takes a special measure of grace to be able to give on
that level. It’s not borne out of a desire to be popular as the greatest giver
around, or to be renown; these people understand that they are simply,
CUSTODIANS of God’s wealth.
One of the principles that God has shared with me about
being a Kingdom financier is “if He can’t get it THROUGH you, He can’t give it
TO you”.
I’m privileged to be a custodian of God’s wealth; and over a
period of the last 8 years, He has asked me to SOW 9 cars to several Men of God
with whom He has been well pleased.
I’ve sown a Volkswagen Jetta (in 2001), Mercedes Benz
E-Class (in 2002), Mercedes Benz C – Class (in 2005), BMW 3 Series (in 2005),
Honda Accord 2006 model (less than 60 days from when I got it in 2006), a
Mercedes Benz M – Class (in 2007), a Toyota Matrix (in 2008) and 2 Range Rover
HSE Jeeps (both in 2008): and I’ve noticed that every time He asked me to, it
was my only car (my Isaac), and He always gives me better.
Today, I’m very happy and content that I’ve been used a
vessel to be a blessing.
I guess you’re wondering what car I drive now? Well, I’m
quite happy driving a Toyota Hiace bus.
Kingdom Entrepreneurs also know that they don’t use money
just based on need, they use it based on “lead”; which is a leading from the
Holy Spirit who directs them to do His will.
To be Kingdom Entrepreneur, you must have the values of
obedience, sacrifice, humility, a preference for anonymity (as you will not get
the glory for being a blessing) and most importantly, a love and desire to
please God now and at all times.
i have listened to a few of your tapes and i have been richly blessed by it. i am a writer, although just started writing but i hope to be a motivational speaker one day. i love your zeal and i pray that God will continue to help you.
