A little while ago, I requested for your contributions on what virtues and values our aspiring leaders must display to deserve your vote. In other words, what kind of person must a candidate be to deserve your vote? Here are the results of this opinion poll from a total of 308 entries showing the virtues/attributes and the number of times the attribute was mentioned. Good morning Your Excellencies.

It is 19 days to the presidential elections scheduled for Saturday April 9, 2011.

Many people have been asking me to tell them who I am voting for, so they can do likewise. Some even go as far as to say “Fela, as a leader, you must tell us who we should vote for.”

In my own opinion, it is NOT my place to tell you who to vote for. I believe that will be an abuse of the influence you have graciously bestowed upon me.

However, my commitment is to provide you with as much useful information as you need to take the best decisions that you can to deliver our future through your vote.

In a few days, precisely on May 12, 2011, by the special grace of God, I will have the opportunity to celebrate my 40th birthday and my 10th wedding anniversary. Just about 40 years ago, God gave me the unique privilege of birth through a wonderful couple: "Bros Tox" and "Sisi Addy" (as they were fondly called by their family and friends). My life's mandate, as I later discovered, was simply to use my God-given talents and abilities to make Nigeria, Africa and the world a better place than I met it.

At this very moment, the earth is undergoing a devastation of historical proportions.

Earlier today, Japan was hit by an 8.9-magnitude earthquake. This earthquake has sparked off a Tsunami tidal wave in the Pacific Ocean, 30 meters high (the height of a 10 storey building) which has already hit the coast of Japan. A Pacific Tsunami warning has been issued to about 50 countries including Indonesia, Phillipines, Hawaii, Vanuatu, Australia and Chile,
