TOPIC: The Nigeria I see
#2
The Nigeria I see 11 Months, 4 Weeks ago

In the midst of the present realities, in spite of the atendant challenges, we face as a nation, dreams are still possible.

But then we cling to hope of a change,
after the thick darkness of the night, comes a glorious dawn.

The only way not to be disappointed
is not to dream at all. But perhaps, those who have suceeded dreamt instead of complained.

What is the picture of the nigeria ringing
in your heart for expression?

Let me put it this way: You don't need a strategy to Dream .... So right now ... Just Dream!!!

Share your ideas, as if they were real,
because someday they will.

The Nigeria i see is:

a land of opportunity where people ardently and hungrily pursue problems and benefit from the solutions they provide.

a land where "african time" means getting to your appointment an hour before a meeting, and not an hour after!

a land where militancy and despotism is a thing of the past!

a land where religious crises is replaced by religious love and brotherhood.

a land where children of school age don't forcibly wash your windows and hawk on the streets.

THIS IS THE NIGERIA I SEE!

THE NIGERIA I SEE, A COUNTRY WHERE PEOPLE SEE EVERY BAD DAY THEY HAVE IS NOT ONLY TO THEM BUT TO EVERY ONE ELSE ALSO. THE NIGERIA WHERE EVERY COMPLAIN IS TURNED TO GAIN BY MEAN LOOKING PROBLEM SOLVERS WHO ARE LOADED WITH SOLUTIONS.
A NIGERIA WHERE A UNIVERSITY WON'T BE ABOUT THE CERTIFICATE BUT WITH WHAT YOU LEARN IN THE SCHOOL WITH WHICH YOU CAN ADD SOMETHING BACK TO THE SOCIETY WITH.
A NIGERIA WHERE A FIVE YEAR OLD BOY REALISE THE FACT THAT WHEN HE GETS TO 18 HE MUST ADDED VALUE TO A LOT OF LIVES AND MUST HAVE BEEN THIKING ABOUT RETIRING AND GOING INTO FULL TIME MINISTRY OF PHILANTROPHY.
A NIGERIA WHEN PEOPLE FINALLY REALISE THAT THE GOVT IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR MISERY, BUT THE FACT IS THAT THEY DECIDED TO BE MISERABLE.
A NIGERIA SO GREAT THAT NATIONS WILL USE AS A YARDSTICK.
A NIGERIA WHERE FOREIGNERS COME IN HERE FOR INTERNSHIP, LEARNING AND SCHOOLING. A NIGERIA OF MY DREAMS. DREAMS I JUST REALISE I WILL, MUST AND SHOULD ACHIEVE.
A NIGERIA I WOULD DELIVER WITH YOUR HELP. YES YOU READING THIS. I LOVE THIS NATIONS SO MUCH THAT I DON'T CARE WHO I BUILD IT WITH.
NO MATTER HOW HARD IT IS , I WOULD NEVER LET NIGERIA AND MY GENERATION DOWN.
GOD BLESS NIGERIA
